Westborough State Hospital
The Westborough State Hospital closed in 2010, but the abandoned buildings are tightly sealed and patrolled by security. Needless to say, it was difficult to snap many pictures. Eventually, after a few hours of darting behind buildings, I was stopped by security and told to leave. I was able to get inside the deserted greenhouse. Behind the hospital are beautiful trails surrounding Chauncy Lake–perfect for a day of hiking even if you aren’t looking for urban decay!
