In my travels through New York state I came across Frontier Town, a theme park based on the Wild West. As I walked past the private property signs, as I usually do, I realized that this place was a treasure trove of decaying buildings.

At it’s peak in the 1960s into the 1970s, Frontier Town brought the Wild West to thousands of families in upstate New York. There were storefronts, an arena, animal pens and even a church. People could ride on stage coaches and a steam train and a rodeo would be held twice a day. What a cool place.
